I have a personal credit union with Golden 1 for which I have just kept all my savings in my savings account. The APY is .15%, but I feel like it is nice and safe there, so i have always kept the money threre. A family member suggested moving my funds to Ally Online Banking which has 1.15% APY (there is also another savings bank he is using with the name G something).
What do people think of using this online savings account? Are there any drawbacks or things I ought to be aware of? Im saving for a house.
