I'm sure there's a better place to ask this question, but I am bad at this. If someone could point me to a more appropriate subreddit, that'd be cool!

To make a long story short:

This (I think) is in my bathroom: http://ift.tt/2uAp8AD

I put these bulbs inside of it last October: http://ift.tt/2ujbV4b

They've already burned out! My wife and I turn off the lights every time we leave the bathroom, and the other bulbs in the bathroom have never burned out. Something tells me something fishy is going on.

With my limited knowledge, my intuition tells me that the bulbs are not correct, but a sticker on the light fixture says, "RE-LAMP ONLY PL 13W 4PIN QUAD," which is what I believe those bulbs are.

I don't want to keep buying bulbs for this thing every 10 months, because I feel like that's wasteful and shipping is expensive. It's also quite difficult to get the bulbs in and out of it.

Does anyone have tips on how I can go about figuring out what's wrong, if anything? One thing to note is that one bulb burnt out a few days before the other one, which is exactly what happened the first time they burnt out (only a few months after we moved in, so we figured that was just bad timing). The bulbs also seem to have a 15-month warranty, but I haven't looked into that yet.

Thanks!
