Hey guys,Doing a small reno of my condo which includes redoing my floors. So currently I'm down to the subfloor and the baseboard molding is off. The laminate is a floating floor with uniclic, but I've never laid a floating floor before. So, a few questions:I know I need some space between the wall and the flooring, and I have some spacers from a kit. The baseboard molding goes directly on top of the flooring and covers the gap for the eyes right?Second, when assembling the floor I want it to look random and stagger the joints for strength, but if I cut the flooring it loses its ability to click together. Do I only cut small the edge pieces(closest to wall) or am I missing something?Do I leave the underlayment the same length away from the walls? And if there's anything else I should know or tips etc, I appreciate it. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2gsp8S4
