Hi, I'm traveling next week for the first time to USA. I'm renting a "standard car" which is Mitsubishi Galant or similar from Dollar car rentals for 15 days from LA, California.
I have all basic insurances: CDW, TPL, TP, SLI, UMP. We want to visit national parks and I'm afraid that I when we will get a flat tire, I will be left for myself with no idea where to look for help and where is the nearest workshop.
Is there any insurance/assistance which I can get? Is it worth the money or I should look for any external insurances? I've heard about company called rentalcover (same name as the page addres) - they offered me that for 140 USD total, they will cover all expenses (up to 10k USD) connected with towing or flat tire. The problem is that first i need to arrange everything bymyself and after that, when I get home, I will be able to get my money back.
It is impossible to check it on dollar rental page, so I'm trying to get any additional info ahead, because on the start of my rental (Aug 20) it will be too late to check eveything via internet.
best regards Kisiel
