I received a letter from the IRS yesterday with a statement telling me that I owe then $1400 in relation to what I can only assume is a discrepancy in my 2015 Tax Return information.
I recall that year well enough and know that I did file and Amend Return and ended up getting back $1000-1500 or so with ONLY my W-2 through my work.
I cannot afford to just shell this money out to them by August 23rd, three days before my birthday as well :(
I need guidance!
