Is it better to DIY demolish an interior 9'X8' wall or should I call a professional? There are no pipes or plumbing, not load bearing but there is electrical wiring for outlets and switches, one hvac vent and a couple of top and bottom kitchen cabinets I want to reuse later. The drywall is nailed to metal not wood. I don't have experience with this but I want to save money. I already know someone knowledgeable who could help me with repositioning the electrical wiring. Edit: On one side of the wall, I have a small galley kitchen. And, on the other side of the wall, I have an oddly shaped dining room. My goal is to make my kitchen more open to possibly add a small island. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2uAeIlx
