I know this is extreme, I'm not saying everyone should do what I'm doing. Or even 1% of you. But I just wanted to share my story.
I'm living in a nice city the Philippines (the country is not as bad as Reddit makes it seem, if you visit the worldnews sub) Anyway, I work online and average about 25 hours a week. My income is around $1200 a month, sometimes a little more or less because I can set my own hours.
My monthly spending breaks down like this:
Rent: $200 (Split between two people)
Food: $150-200
Transportation: $50-75
Bills: $100 (Phone, Cable, Water, Electric)
This allows me to have around $700 spending money per month, which I use to go out to eat (A decent sit-down meal here averages $5), or hit up the beaches. I think this is a great type of lifestyle for someone in their 20s. Anyone else have an experience like this?
