If I buy contacts from one place, is there anything that stops me from using that same prescription to buy more from another place?

Let me expand. Every year I have to renew my prescription for contacts. Every year I get the exact same prescription. This is $150 every time. If I get the prescription and go straight to the pharmacy at Costco and order a year supply, could I use that same prescription to buy a year supply at another place as well? I would like to eliminate the $150 fee and the trip to the optometrist. Thanks in advance!!!
