Hey r/frugal, I was wondering if you guys had any tips for not spending half my paycheck on food while I am at work. I work at a grocery store and recently I have been compelled to buy things that I dont actually need. For example, a $8 sandwich from our deli department almost every day, an energy drink or coffee and a snack for later on (I work very long shifts) This is totaling out to be around $10 - $15 a day which is WAY to much for me. I have tried meal prepping but I usually get burnt out eating the same few things every day. We do have a microwave that I can use if that helps. I can totally afford it but I am trying to save up as much as I can before I move out of my parents house and into a college dorm. Any tips would be great!
