I got an old, beautiful wood dresser for free. The only problem is one of the previous owners (badly) tiled the top. The tiles are already falling off and were pretty poorly adhered, I can just remove them by hand. The problem is the adhesive they've left behind. I'm not sure what was used (its kind of an old golden color) but I'd like to remove it. Would a stripper like citri-strip work for this? Or is there a way to remove this adhesive? I know the top is probably too damaged from the tiling to just stain outright, even if the adhesive came off. Was planning on buying a thin piece of wood to cover up the nasty stuff, if need be. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2wIO3HX
