We just wanted the most basic elopement possible. $30 rings, no guests, no fuss, just tying the knot on our anniversary. Turns out the cheapest cost for a celebrant is $400, which we can't afford at the moment as an unexpected injury has put my fiance out of work for long enough to eat that out of our savings.
I'm so disappointed.
