Hello all. I was advised to post this here, so I hope it's okay.
All my debt is from medical bills only (no credit card debt, no student loans, just medical debt) and I have no choice but to file for bankruptcy.
My wages will be garnished soon, and I would prefer an attorney so I know everything will be done right but every time I Google for information, I become overwhelmed by the sheer amount of results and I feel lost. I don't want to be ripped off by some random lawyer because I'm unsure as to what this is going to cost and what the process is but I just want the slate wiped clean in the sense that I don't want any more garnishments (which happened last year at a previous job) and no more bills piled up in my mailbox from over 5 years ago. I just want this over with but I feel so lost. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I'm not sure if it matters or is relevant but I also have no assets. I have a bed, a guitar and two dogs. That's it.
I'm in Denver.
