Hi Folks!My husband and I bought this home 3 years ago. Since then we've been having issues where the paint is literally peeling off the wall in huge sheets. One little nick, and it's like the walls were sunburned and are now peeling. Underneath is a powdery substance, that we think was whatever made the original texture, but we're not sure.We scraped one room, vacuumed the walls, primed and repainted. It was insane work. But in places that room is starting to have similar issues.I have now scraped my kitchen (had to, too many places had been accidentally peeled, and I couldn't take it any more).
