So at the same time I'm getting a redundancy pay and my partner is receiving an inheritance, over all well be getting about £20,000. for the entire 10 years we've been togeather we've been living paycheck to paycheck. we usually can scrape together some money for a modest holiday or fix something on the car but have never managed to save much money. We want to use the bulk of this money to do improve our lives, not just blow it all on stuff. Any ideas?
