I'm thinking about taking an attending position at an affiliate hospital of a university. I imagine they employ around 500-1000 physicians throughout the state. The 401k plan is not great as far as fees go.
I'm wondering if anyone has convinced a large employer to change 401k plans? I imagine if enough of us spoke up that we were unhappy they would have to do something. Do they get incentives from the equity fund managers?
