I want to use hardwood flooring like this http://ift.tt/2wvu7ny as a kitchen backsplash (flooring in the wall). Is this fairly straightforward? 'm thinking to use glue and nail it to studs if necessary. Cutouts for outlets should be straightforward with a miter saw or oscillating cutting tool It is in a low traffic area of kitchen so food staining and such won't be an issue.
