I try avoiding hangouts with these two people altogether because they will literally waste their money away on anything. I'm picky about how I spend my time and money so it's frustrating trying to deal with people who don't care about how much money they have or what they spend it on.
I'll suggest something that doesn't cost money or is on the cheaper side and they usually don't like the answer because they don't consider it "fun".
They're trying to goto the city one of these days (chicago) and that in itself already sounds expensive. And I don't even want to go in the first place just because I feel like there's nothing to do other than walk around and spend money. Yeah there's the beach but they're not the type to stay long or not just spend money after we leave.
To get there during the week by train it's $16 round trip...almost $20 and that doesn't even include what we're gonna be eating...or what activity they're gonna decide to do when we get there 😒
They just look at me as cheap without saying it but I don't really care about that. I just care about how much money I'm saving. I just don't know how to handle this situation everytime they want to hangout with me. I don't mind them but we're not as close as we were because I'm not willing to spend money at the
movies arcade bowling alley skating rink mall restaurant or just on anywhere/anything that I truly don't think is worth the money
just hurts my pockets thinking about it :/
