My wife and I am celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary, so I am making a "Memory Phone". I have a microcontroller reading the numbers, and playing an audio clip from that year of our marriage. The catch: I'm using Grandma's old phone, which is "too ugly" for our kitchen. As an electrical guy, I rarely touch the mechanical side, but it is time to get my hands dirty.Pictures of the phone.I know about the hydrogen peroxide method for yellowed plastic, but I'm not sure how to "buff out" all of these black dings, or how to get the cord looking great.
