I was drilling some drywall anchors and my cordless drill nicked some wiring (going to a light switch). The breaker instantly tripped. I've turned off the breaker, taken out some drywall, and saw that the damage is very minimal. picI've gotten only one quote so far, but the amount seemed high ($500 as a lower bound). Is an electrician absolutely required, or is this a routine thing to fix? If so, what's the best way to go about fixing it? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2vv0KVW
