Yesterday I deposited a check from my work to my bank. It took a lot longer than usual for he check to clear and I saw that the deposit was in my pending transactions. Just a few hours ago I checked again and saw the the pending transaction was gone but the money wasn't deposited. I called my banks 24 hour support line since the branch was closed, and after what felt like hours of being on hold they told me they could not contact the branch about the problem and that I would have to visit my bank the next morning to file the claim myself. So I have the receipt from my deposit and the pay stub from my check. What should I do now? Will they be able to bring my money back?
