I am trying to use SketchUp to create a model of my front porch and landscaping. The Porch is relatively easy to do, but the railroad tie models I download are not modifiable, and the camera movements make me want to whip my laptop across the room.Is there another free modeling software around that is a tid bit easier? I would even take 2D suggestions. I am doing a few angled dimensions on the timber, so if thats a possibility without having to leave overlapped models, that would be cool too.I will definitely post pics of the project when I am done! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2vna89A
