11 months coming up, and I've given thought I'd like to hide a promise ring in an opaque crystal to be smashed open at a later day.I have still 2-3 weeks time, which seems to be the average length that rock candy needs to crystallize. My fear in this is maybe between titanium, low k gold or sterling silver the solution my stain the metal. My other issue is if 3 weeks time is enough to have it crystallize hard enough to hide light from giving the contents inside.Was curious if anyone can enlighten me so I don't stain a ring from choosing the wrong kind of material or if I need to do this a different way in my time frame. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2vjzl5E
