I've read through the threads on this, and it looks like everyone recommends Wahl, Oster and Andis trimmers for maintaining beards. What doesn't usually seemed to be addressed as well is whether these trimmers have guards that can accommodate relatively short stubble lengths.
For example, Wahl Peanut comes with 4 guards, none of which are going to result in a stubble. It seems like the cheaper battery powered trimmers have lots of settings and can get really tight, but obviously the quality is pretty junky on those.
Additionally, it doesn't seem like anyone really addresses nose hair. Nose hair control is incredibly important, especially for taller guys.
Anyone have a trimmer recommendation that can handle longer beards, stubble, and nose hair?
