I'm installing some new Cherry counterops in a diningroom alcove. I plan to use waterlox to finish the countertop. I'm inexperienced with finishing anything that remains stationary like this (only done tables/chairs etc). Should I install the countertops first, tape off the surrounding edges and apply water lox?
