There was a post here a month ago about how terribly priced TVs are on CL because people base price on what they paid and not what anyone will actually pay. I recently encountered this looking for computers. I made some offers but in they were all technically low ball offers because they would be like 50% of the listed price. Anyone have any strategies on how to find good deals, or negotiate one. I have tried showing comparables from eBay and such, but it hasn't really worked. What ends up happening to that stuff, do they end up giving it away to Goodwill or friend when it doesn't sell for months?
