Wife came home with new shower and sink fixtures (delta) she wanted installed in the bathroom and tub. Took the shower apart to realize it wouldn't fit in the valve, and some quick googling and youtubing later, I have a pretty reasonable understanding that those things won't work together.My question is, should I get a plumber to change the valve is this limited space/yadda yadda, or should I just tell my wife to go back to Home Depot, but pick out an American Standard set? My house was built in 78, but this shower looks quite a bit newer than that (I bought the house in 2009). Will any American Standard set work with this valve, or do I need to call a plumber regardless so I should just stick with the Delta's at this point (since that's what she wanted)? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2wKAbwv
