In the name of minimalism and frugality, everything I own can fit into my car. I've been living in a shared housing situation for the past several years to save on housing costs, and it's just easier and cheaper to keep everything compact in that way (especially since most places come furnished).
That said, I got rid of all my furniture awhile back in order to maintain a smaller footprint. Unfortunately for me, the next place I am moving into (also shared housing) won't be furnished.
I am not a fan of the large, bulky frame + mattress that cost hundreds of dollars and ends up being super expensive to move. Do you guys have recommendations on portable bed frames / mattresses / sleeping situation that will fit into this lifestyle?
That said, it doesn't have to be portable, it can also be cheap enough so that it won't sting as much to buy a full sleeping set. I've considered Amazon and Craigslist, but just throwing this question out there in case there was something that I hadn't considered. Thanks for reading!
