Over in /r/wicked_edge Fatip has been gaining ground in reputation as their manufacturing quality gets even better. While all traditional razors are a good value over time, most of the common ones have Zamac alloy heads which are likely to snap within a few years of use. The Fatip company only makes their razor heads of brass and because it is ductile, not brittle, is far less likely to snap. Indeed, this razor should easily last a century.
Brass is uncommon outside of premium $100+ razors these days, though it was quite normal during the heyday of Gillette mass manufacture, which is why so many of those old razors are still alive and kicking. :) Blades can cost 0.05-0.40 depending on brand, but well regarded blades can be found for 0.10USD.
