Want to move some funds in Vanguard and/or Fidelity to maybe some more conservative BOND funds or for sure something Tax Exempt? I am 54 and trying to grow money, and don't want lots of taxes on gains and such.....I don't work outside the home so can't do ROTH IRAs or any IRAs.....can't do it under my husband either, because we must file separately. What funds can you recommend that are good longterm growth funds. I'm in some really good ones like CONTRA and MidCap and others, I have like 14 funds with Vanguard, but all seem to be more the agressive type, so also need to calm that down with some Bond funds I think? I'm just learning all this stuff, but I do see how funds do grow with the right dividends and market going up, and I do know it falls, I've been around in the 1991 stock drop and also in the one like 10 years ago.....but as I can tell from both of those, it seems to come back and even higher than it was before.....Thanks!!
