I love the idea of a work "uniform" and I'm trying to up my professional dress at work in the spirit of "dress for the job you want." For a while, I've been so frustrated with clothes despite multiple paring downs that I joked about buying five of the same dress and wearing it every day.
Well, I did it! I ordered four sheath dresses online in different colors. Here's hoping they fit!
If they do, my morning routine has been simplified because they each pair with my two blazers and my neutral cardigans but can also be worn on their own in my office.
I got four because I like getting multiple wears but also because I have some work outfits that I love and still want a day to wear them, especially if wearing the same thing every day gets boring.
These are pretty cheap dresses, so if I don't like the uniform idea in practice, I won't have invested too much in them, but I'm really excited to try this experiment.
