I am curious about the math and reality of stopping investments into a traditional 401K and starting over with a Roth 401K. With compounding interest it seems silly to begin investing in a Roth if I have already accumulated a large sum in my traditional 401K. My example is having $150K in a traditional 401K will continue to grow much faster and larger than to just let it sit and grow while starting from $0 in a Roth 401K. I would assume both 401K grow at the same rate and looking at the investing for the next 30 years. I'm curious as to what makes sense and other thoughts about making an investment switch like this?
