Recently had around 135 feet of cedar horizontal fencing put up in my yard (around 2 weeks ago). Looking for some guidance with regards to staining it, as I've heard tons of conflicting info.http://ift.tt/2sALCWe (here is a section of the fence)First, when should we look to stain it? I've heard people say to let the boards dry out in the elements a bit, and I've also heard that we should stain it asap.Secondly, what should we be doing to prep it? As it was recently built, its already clean. But I've heard some people say to sand it, or at the very least pressure wash it a few days prior to staining, and others have said its not necessary. And thirdly, any recommendations on what product to use to get the certain asthetic we'd like to achieve? I like a somewhat glossy, darker/reddish look to it, almost like stained Ipe. Something that really stands out from the average looking brown fence. Some examples:http://ift.tt/2tk4ENO help is greatly appreciated. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2sArZh5
