Would putting a lot of money into VXX shares be an extremely foolish move? I find it really hard to believe that the markets/economy are going to continue this bullish/low-volatile run thats been experienced for the past few years.. complacency seems so high in my opinion. With Trump as the 'leader' of the free world and everything else that's going on in global/US politics, why is a crash/extreme volatility being overlooked? Can someone convince me that this would be a bad move: buy VXX at $13 a share-->wait till a global/domestic event triggers volatility (maybe even a market crash)-->sell VXX shares. Am I missing something? Or do people really believe that this historic streak of bullish markets and low volatility will continue for the foreseeable future?
