The global transportation sector generated over $4 Trillion in revenues in 2016, accounting for 6% of global GDP. Though we read a lot about investments being made in autonomous vehicles and self-driving cars, the fact is that there is a lot of innovation happening across the spectrum including in aviation, logistics, train travel and shipping. This is a massive market where new challengers are emerging to disrupt regulations and leverage technology to make the movement of goods and people more efficient and cheaper.
