I have 2 West Highland Terriers and they mean the world to me. They are both owner-surrender rescues. But one thing I've noticed since I got them was the modest accumulation of doggie things.

They honestly don't need or have very much, other than human attention. They have a bed and a chew toy each, in addition to food and water. But I keep wanting to get them stuff to keep them occupied while I'm at work. The ads I see don't help either and every time I walk into a pet store I keep wanting to buy them more treats and stuff. And people keep telling me I'm not treating them good for only feeding them kibble and nothing else.

Just wondering if there are pet owners out there who live simply with their dogs and could share the experience. I want them to be happy without having to buy them too many things.

Honestly my dream is to just get a campervan and travel with them around the world one day. So minimal living is the key.

This is me and Luffy (left) and Sayu btw.
