Dad was going to divorce stepmom. Dad got apartment to be safe and have a place once he told her. Dad withdrew life savings (not much, but still a lot) in cash to cover his ass should poop hit the fan. Stepmom went through his things, found savings, took them, took my sister, and bolted. We are scared. My dad is practically moneyless now (not a lot in checking) and I may never see my five year old sister again. I hope this is the right sub. Please help.
