"Amazon’s proposed purchase of Whole Foods could impact neighborhood grocery stores and hardworking consumers across America," [U.S. Representative David] Cicilline said in a statement. "Congress has a responsibility to fully scrutinize this merger before it goes ahead."
It is unclear to me if Cicilline has ever been into a Whole Foods, seen what neighborhoods Whole Foods is generally found in, or is at all aware the demographic of people who shop there.
