I am coming from an Under Armor vacuum bottle that I had for 2+ years. It had a great screw on lid with a button that flipped open a lid+rubber seal on the drinking spout. Leak proof. I dropped it going into the gym and broke the plastic flip lid.
Right now I am looking for something bigger (at least 40 oz.). I am torn between the 44 oz. Zojirushi SF-CC13XA and the 40 oz. Hydro Flask. I do not like any of the leak proof HF caps since they are all screw on. I don't want to keep unscrewing a cap when I need water. So my question is mostly to you Zojirushi owners. I know that Zoji bottle is designed for pouring, but how effective is it to drink directly from the pour spout? My plan is to mostly leave the cup cap off the bottle and push the button whenever I need a drink.
Is this something that I could effectively do with this bottle? Not to mention it's $15 cheaper than the 40 oz. HF. Thanks in advance.
Also, if you all have any recommendations for some magic bottle that I haven't found yet, let me know.
