I've been looking at these chairs for some time. With all the bells and whistles I'm interested in (adjustable lumbar support, adjustable armrests, etc) the chair will run me $855. I really like how far back I can lounge in the chair when I just feel like throwing up my legs. I also like how I can slide around and sit in the chair sideways.
It does feel a bit... sparse, though. I think I would prefer a chair that enveloped me rather than simply supported my mid-lower back and butt. The Embody seems popular, but people say it gets noisy 1-2 years in and that would drive me nuts.
Any thoughts on the chair, as opposed to the Steelcase Gesture or other chairs? My absolute maximum budget is $1100.
