I'm looking for a set of earphones (in-ear/IEMs). I've had three pair die on me this week, randomly. And I'm really careful with my stuff. One of the inside pieces fell out of one pair, another just quit working on one side (seems to be an irreparable short in the came hear the 1/8 in jack) and the third pair simply came out of it's case with the wire frayed out and broken. I have no idea why. I had a pair of Beats buds that were a gift & they died due to an irreparable short in one side as well after very little use. So, I need a replacement and it's like something that will last we'll and sounds great without breaking the bank. I was a professional sound engineer for a time so I really enjoy good quality sound.

I'm considering going with the MEE M6 Pro, simply because each component is individually replaceable for $10-$15 and they offer a lifetime half price replacement (once every 180 days) for any lost, stolen, damaged set. Plus they are supposed to sound decent - once they have been burned in. But I'd love to hear other thoughts and suggestions. I know the 1More brand is supposed to sound great, but I was hoping to spend a bit less and I'm not sure about their durability. I know Koss is supposed to have a pretty good warranty (though also not free) but I'm not sure they have a IEM in the mid-range price that sounds great.

I know they're are an increasing number of low budget high-quality sounding earphones that have come on the market. I'm just looking for durability as well as great sound. Any thoughts, suggestions, or advice would be much appreciated! Thanks!
