Hi,

I'm currently testing two sample chairs at my own home: The Herman Miller Aeron (Remastered) and the Embody.

I really like both of these chairs, but I can't decide which one to buy: Both have their pros and cons and I would like to hear someone else's opinion on their longterm experiences with either chair.

First up: Price is not the issue, as both chairs will cost me pretty much the same.

Aeron

Pros:

1) I really like the look of it much more than the look of the Embody.

2) I feel the build quality is a bit better here, the whole thing feels built to last

Cons:

1) I don't 100% like sitting on it: The mesh and the plastic edges seem a bit hard

2) Not AS flexible, feels like it kind of forces me to sit in a certain way.

Embody

Pros:

1) Super flexible, fits my body very well however I move.

2) A BIT more comfortable than the Aeron, but not that much.

Cons:

1) The squeaking of the sample I got (which is about 4 years old) is ridiculously loud. If I can't get rid of it, this would be a major contra vs the Aeron

2) The armrests seems very flimsy and not as well made

3) In my opinion, it looks WAY worse in my home office than the Aeron, and, as a graphic designer, such things matter to me a lot (unfortunately)

Sooooo, any opinions? Any ideas on how to make this decision easier? I really want to choose between those two, not try out another brand.
