The item in question.
So I was shopping at CK this week and saw a bag/briefcase that I immediately wanted as I had been wanting something like it for a while. The price was good, a little too good, and when I asked the sales associate, I figured out why - its made of some synthetic leather something-or-other.
Because of this, it scratches and "chips" very easily, and I'm already starting to see damage within a couple of days.
This sucks as I quite like this bag, but hate the material. Does anyone know of anything VERY similar to this, but in a better material?
Some reasons WHY I like this bag:
- I like uniform blacks/greys (by this I mean no aged/rustic leather if possible).
- Soft material. This looked like a soft leather, but soft fabrics work too (poly, nylon, whatever) and would probably hold up better to wear and tear.
- It can very easily fit two laptops + pocket umbrella + glasses case + slim coffee mug + notebook + extras when necessary
- Not bulky
- No huge logos anywhere (even the CK logo is black on black, very discrete).
- Versatile (shoulder strap and handles, inner zips/separators).
Posting this to this sub because I obviously dislike that the bag I bought won't last. I feel like this sub will have the advice I need.
Thank you in advanced!
