Waterproof, I would like a lot of pockets or organizers cause I carry a lot of tiny or small things and the one that I'm having the most trouble with is a place to put enamel pins and/or patches because most good backpacks have that double-layered inner so if I want to put a pin though it to connect with the back parts of an enamel pin, it pierces the fabric and basically makes holes.
I wouldn't mind the holes if it wasn't hard or thick material on the outer, small pockets so I can just use that space for it
I've been looking at backpacks with like rope or fabric that is disconnected from the actually backpack which are usually used for U-Locks and things like that, so I can just pin through those
