Looking to buy a cordless drill and driver for use around the house. I see Milwaukee, Dewalt, and Makita recommended but don't really know which to pick. What sets these companies apart from others and what sets each apart from the other? Additionally, there are so many options and styles, how do they differentiate?
I looked at some Makita drills on Amazon and they seem really expensive at $250-300. I was expecting to buy both the driver and drill for ~$300 total. Is $250+ really what it costs to BIFL?
Also, what drill bits and screwdriver set is recommended? I've read that drills and screwdriver sets aren't really BIFL but what sets last the longest for the price?
