Used is not an option and I live in the USA to narrow down car models. I'm looking for a somewhat frugal commuter car that'll drive 40 miles daily with good efficiency, practical, and is reliable. I'm single, don't have kids/plan on having any, but of course that could change and would like the car to accommodate. I don't care how fast I go, the speed limit here on the highway is only 45mph. I've basically narrowed it down 4 Toyota models: Corolla, Corolla iM, Yaris, and Yaris iA. I love the look and body length of hatchbacks and am willing to sacrifice that 1-3 MPG difference. Not sure about how much more practical they are because as it stands, I have a Camry (which I'll be giving to my parents) I almost never use the trunk and have never had problems with storage in my 7 years of ownership. Not sure how long cars typically last, but I'd like it to last at least 20 years of my life, especially since I drive like a nanny

Of course, ya'll can recommend whatever you want, if you think I should splurge a little more on something else tell me why. I just chose to stick with Toyota since they have a reputation for reliability. I saw the Hilux recommended on here a bit (not sure if jokingly) and I'd be open to whatever you'd have to say.
