So I'm renovating a 1970s Thomson caravan and logging the progress on a blog. http://ift.tt/2vM3IS5 have a question that someone here may be able to answer. I've ripped out all of the old electrics as they were in a questionable state and there was no consumer using or fuse box fitted so thought I'd start from scratch.The question I have is can I run everything from electric hookup without a leisure battery. I'm going to put in low wattage LED lights that can run on 240v and will sort out a method of pumping water but can anyone see any issue of just using EHU? I know I won't have electrics in the case of a powercut but I'm willing to take a chance on that and have torches etc on hand.
