Just paid off the last of my debt on my high interest credit card. I put some unexpected medical expenses and gas on the card and was only making minimum payments. I decided to get aggresive 3 weeks ago, picked up extra shifts at my second job, and have bought little for myself in that time.
I still have another credit card with about $1000 on it from education expenses, but I'm hoping to have that paid off in about a month and then all that's left to tackle is my student loan debt. I managed to save about $1500 in my emergency fund as well.
Very happy I'm actually getting serious about paying my debt. It was a good feeling this morning making the final payment. Small victory but a victory.
