I was reading another thread about home made soap, shampoo, etc. A lot of people commented that it may not actually be cheaper, not worth the effort for a few cents, etc.
So now I'm wondering about the question in my title. Ultimately what I am seeking is an all purpose cleaner that is both food safe and is not harmful to inhale (I like to clean the shower while showering. Vinegar may smell but the smell won't harm me at least).
On a related note, what are some instances where buying is cheaper than making?
