If you incur some kind of a fee by Banks or Credit Card Companies, call them to apologize about. They'll often remove the fee as a courtesy favor.

Recently, I received an overdraft fee. I called my bank asking what it was (even though I knew what I did wrong), apologized, and said it was my mistake. They reversed the fee as a favor and I ended up saving $40!
