I am currently working for my father and living with him out of college. I am making a decent wage and will have approximately 10k in my bank account at the end of August. Unfortunately my father has been having quite the anger issues and drinking problems and I can no longer take it. Tonight he got shit faced and told me he would fire me at the end of august. I really don't do anything to agitate him, he just has zero patience anymore and angers extremely quickly.
I cannot go live with my mother and am wondering what my next play should be? I am currently living in Wisconsin and would like to try and make it out west. I do graphic design and have a college degree in communication and journalism with a psychology minor. I have a good head on my shoulders but am just in a shitty situation. My parents have ruled over my life so I really have never done any financial work for myself and am not the greatest with financial planning.
If anyone has any advice I would love some help. Thank you!
